Opening Hook And Welcome
Jillian GreyseThere's a version of you that never got to exist. Not a version of you that quit, not the version of you that failed, the version of you that was fully, completely, and undeniably yours. But then it got buried under everything you were told you were supposed to be, everything culture pushed you towards having to accomplish. And I know you felt it, that pull, that grief that doesn't have a name, that moment when you're standing in the middle of a room and you know that there's parts of you that are missing that you would love to bring in. That feeling is not confusion. It's not being not grateful for the life that you live. It's your unlived self knocking at the door from the inside. It's that authentic peace that's trying to come to life. And today we're letting it out. This is Tapping Into the Unlived Self. Welcome back to the Jillian Grace Show. If you're new here, welcome home. This is a space where we don't do anything surface level. We don't do anything comfortable for the sake of being comfortable. We go into the field, we go into the frequency, we go into the parts of you that the world forgot to make room for. And we ask the big questions. And on this episode, this one is personal. This one hits different because we're talking today about something that didn't happen to you. It's something that's happening in you, and in so many people right now as we speak. This authentic part of each one of us is starting to open and we are more and more aware of it, regardless of your age. I have clients that are working through this in their 20s. I have clients that are working through this in their teens. I have clients that are working through this that are 70 and 80 years old. Right now, we are going through a period of time on this planet where that authentic self is awakening up. We're going to talk about why your energetic field actually holds on to that part of yourself. And then I'm going to walk you through how to activate it and a guided talk down towards the end of this episode. And this is going to help you connect with that part of you that has been waiting for you that got buried under all of the surface information that we can get stuck in. So open up your mind, take a deep breath, and let's dive in. Let me be real clear what I mean when I say the unlived self, because I'm not talking about regret. I'm not talking about some dream you gave up on. I'm not talking about the road not taken, like it's some sad poem that you read in high school and didn't end up fully living out. I'm talking about something alive. The unlived self is the version of you that was real, complete, specific, that was undeniably under the surface. And then it got suppressed. Not because you were weak, not because you made the wrong choice, because you were navigating a world that had a very narrow idea of who you were allowed to be. And somewhere along the way, you got good at fitting into that idea. And the parts that
Defining The Unlived Self
Jillian Greysedidn't fit, you took them away. And here's what nobody tells you. Those parts don't disappear, they don't dissolve, they don't become quiet. And they're meant to be integrated into the life that you're building. They go underground, they wait, and they build pressure. And eventually they start to speak through your body, through restlessness, this impeccable ache that hits you when you see someone who's doing things similar to what you want to do, and you can't quite explain what that feeling comes from. That ache, it's not jealousy, it's recognition. That's your unlived self saying, that right there, it's supposed to be yours too. Also, the life that you currently built is. But those pieces of your authentic self were designed to be integrated in. And you don't have to stay at the level of status quo or predictability for the remainder of the ride. I want to tell you something that has changed everything for me. We are not one self. We are not one field beings. We are a living, breathing, vibrational spectrum of who we are and who we came here to be. And the life that you are living right now is not the full broadcast. It's the frequency on a dial that has many different stations. The unlived self is not a station you missed. It's a station you haven't yet tuned into. It's a station that you haven't yet brought towards you. The reason that matters so much, and the reason I felt called to do an entire episode on this is because I coach people every single day that are trying to fix something that isn't broken instead of giving it more bandwidth so it can come to life. They think something's wrong with them because they feel incomplete, even though everything looks right from the outside. Their career is there, their relationship is there, their life is there, yet something's absent that they cannot name. That absence has a name. It's you, the full you, the you that you have not yet given yourself permission to become. And what happens all too often when we go through this experience is we start to blame the outer world for the inner aspects that are trying to come to life. And I want you to stay with me here because this is not woo-woo. This is frequency mechanics. This is not something that's just spiritual and can be passed over as people's way of thinking or their belief. This is science. You're not fixed on one thing, you're a field, your identity. Who you think you are is not fact. It's frequency. And frequency is not permanent. Frequencies are responsive. They respond to input, they respond to attention, they respond to the quality of belief you hold about yourself on any given day, which means the unlived self is not locked behind you. It's not a closed chapter. It exists right now as a
Identity Works Like A Frequency
Jillian Greysefrequency in your field that is not yet activated. It is not yet collapsed into form because nothing has called it forward yet. I want you to really feel that. You choose to stop surrendering it and start architecting from it. This is the part where most people expect me to say something comforting to soften this, but I'm not going to do that. Because you don't need comfort right now, you need truth. And the truth is, every day you spend pretending that version of you doesn't exist, you are operating at a fraction of your actual frequency. You're broadcasting at partial power. And the life you are building from at partial power will always feel like something's missing because it is. It's missing you. So what that means is the part of you that loved to write, that you let go of, is dying to be incorporated into the life that you live. The part of you that loved to travel, that you refuse to nurture, is dying to go on vacation or to take destination trips to bring inspiration alive within you. The part of you who loved to sing wants to hear your voice come through. This part of your unlived self also vibrates in a way that helps to give you balance, the balance that you need between your heart and your mind, between your body and your soul, between your ego and your higher self. So why does this happen? Why do we walk around carrying this version of ourselves that we can feel, but we can't seem to touch? This happens because our field is loyal. That's why. Your energetic field doesn't forget. It keeps the record of every version of you that ever came forward and every version of you that ever got pushed back down. It holds the imprint of every desire you felt before you talked yourself out of it, every gift you put down to be more practical, every dream you decided wasn't realistic enough and didn't deserve space. Your field holds all of it, not as a punishment, not as grief, but as data, as a blueprint that is still active, still running, and still waiting for you
Why Your Field Holds The Blueprint
Jillian Greyseto catch up to what it already knows about you. And here's the thing about carrying energy without expressing it it doesn't stay neutral. Unexpressed parts of your identity create internal static. They create low-grade noise that you feel in your body when you're living out of alignment. The fatigue isn't about sleeping. The restlessness isn't about stress. The numbness that shows up when you've been someone else for so long is your own frequency going quiet because you chose to not honor the parts that keep it alive. Your body feels the gap between who you are and who you're here to become. It signals that gap constantly. The tightness in your chest when someone asks you what you really want, the flash of something in your eyes when a conversation touches the version of you that you have not yet let out. The way certain music or certain places crack open something inside of you and you don't know why. Your field is communicating, and that is the unlived space pinging you from inside of your own blueprint. The question is not whether you feel it, because you do. The question is, are you ready to stop treating it like a problem and start treating it like intelligence? Because here's the shift I want you to make today, right now, in this moment. The unlived self is not a wound, it's a signal, it's a transmission from the fullest version of you, trying to reach the current version of you, saying, There's more, there's always been more, and it's time. You are not incomplete because something went wrong. You are incomplete because something is still waiting. And that something isn't fragile, it's not damaged, it's not something that's a broken dream that you need to mourn. It's fierce. It's been patient in a deep, profound way. It has held this frequency through every compromise, every practical decision, every year you spent living someone else's idea of your life. And it's still there, intact, fully charged, waiting for you to decide that you're done playing small and you want to step into that version of you that is large, that version of you that is whole. So this bears the question: how do you bring your unlived self into your currently lived life? So your unlived self doesn't become real through force. It becomes real through integration, through small repeated choices that align your lived identity with your intended identity. The integration isn't mystical, it's not abstract, it's not unreachable. It's a neurobiological, psychological, and energetic process. So let me walk you through ways to identify that unlived self and bring it to life in your current world. The first is to identify micro shifts. So neuroscience shows that identity isn't fixed, it's plastic. And the brain updates a sense
Micro Shifts That Change Identity
Jillian Greyseof self through a process called memory reconciliation, where the old identity pattern dissolves and the new ones take their place. This is how you integrate your unlived self. Small shifts repeatedly. Not a reinvention, not a mass destruction, a remembering. So choose one behavior of that unlived self that you would want to do today. Speak one truth of your unlived self that you would want to say. Set one boundary your unlived self already lives by. Take one action your unlived self doesn't hesitate to take. These micro shifts create neutral prediction errors, which is how the brain rewrites identity. Your unlived self becomes lived through repetition, not revolution. Your unlived self can't integrate what your body is still holding on to in the survival patterns of your old identity. So somatic science calls this interreceptive mismatch when your body signals don't match your desired identity. To integrate your unlived self, you've got to teach your body what the truth feels like. So a great way to do this is to sit in a quiet space, imagine that unlived self sitting in front of you, notice everything about them physically, their posture, their breath, their tone, their pace, and then mirror it. Let your body begin to practice that future self or that current self that has been calling to you. Let your body start to behave in that way. It's not pretend, it's embodied cognition. It's the science of how posture and breathing shape identity. And your body must feel the unlived self before you can express it in your current life. Another way of bringing that unlived self to life is something called narrative construction. Psychology has a field called narrative identity, which shows that your life is shaped by the story you believe you're living. To integrate your unlived self, you have to rewrite your internal narrative. So ask yourself, what story have I been living about who I am? What story would my unlived self tell me instead? What story feels more like home? Then begin speaking from that story. This is how your timeline shifts. And the most important part of this is you are not to blame the people around you for where you are. I see this happen all too often. People will say I was not able to live myself because of the job I had, the way I was raised. There's so many excuses. There are no excuses for why you can't bring that self to life. It's 100% your truth, your power, and in your control. The question is, are you going to step into it? Next is resonance-based decision making. So quantum cognition research shows that humans make decisions from superposition states, meaning that multiple versions of you exist in potential until you choose. We've talked about this so many times. Your unlived self is one of those potentials. So integration happens when you choose from resonance as opposed to fear. So ask yourself, which choice feels like relief? Which choice feels like remembering? Which choice feels like home? Relief is the nervous system recognizing truth. Residence is the frequency of alignment. Familiarity is the signature of your unlived timeline. Pay attention to how you feel. And that feeling concept is something that was taken from many of us very early on in life because we were told we were not supposed to let our feelings get in the way. Our feelings are our guide. So bring them back to life and start honoring them and let them show you the path. Last is relationship recalibration. Your unlived self has different relational needs, boundaries, and dynamics. When you integrate this version of you, some relationships deepen, some relationships transform, some relationships arrive. This isn't chaos, it's coherence. Your relational field organizes around your true identity. Let it a lot of things change when you step into that frequency. And those things that are changing are aligning you with the timeline that you're calling towards you as long as you're staying true to yourself from the heart. Last but not least, we are going to do what we do on every single episode: our short guided integration, which allows you to pull this energy in and allows you to get to a place where it can become alive within your field. I invite you to take a short three to five minutes to sit, relax, and take this journey with me. And you can come back to this integration as many times as you need to remind you of that unlived self that's coming alive within. Close your eyes, let your shoulders soften, and let your breath fall into a slow, rhythmic, warm release.
Guided Integration And Reconnection
Jillian GreyseTake a gentle inhale and a long melting exhale. Feel your body settle into the truth of the moment. Imagine a soft light forming in front of you. Warm, familiar, almost ancient. This light begins to take shape. And you recognize the presence immediately. Calm, grounded, whole. Notice their posture, their breath. Notice the way their presence feels like relief. Take a slow inhale. As you breathe in, imagine drawing your unlived self in closer. Not as a fantasy, not as a future. But as a truth that has always belonged to you. With your next exhale, imagine the two of you beginning to merge. Feel their confidence slide into your chest. Feel their clarity settle into your spine. Feel their softness melt into your nervous system. Feel their knowing anchor into your breath. You are not becoming them. You are remembering them. Place one hand softly on your chest and whisper, I am safe to live the life that was meant for me. I'm safe to embody my original self. I am safe to return to who I truly am. Will your body respond? A subtle shift? A quiet yes. A gentle opening. Let your breath deepen. Let your shoulders drop. Let your timeline align. Your unlived self is no longer separate. They are here. They are you and they are alive. Take one final inhale. And as you exhale, bring your awareness back into the space that you're in. Allow yourself to calmly resettle. And whenever you're ready, you can open your eyes. Thank you so much for listening to this episode of the Jillian Gray Show.
